Corporal Solomon-Haney consistently arrives to work with a positive attitude. Despite her status as a supervisor, there have been many times that Corporal Solomon-Haney has been required to work floor assignments as a stand-in for an officer, which she has always done without complaint or issue. Corporal Solomon-Haney has not been a supervisor for long and consistently asks questions in an effort to further her knowledge and ability in that regard. Corporal Solomon-Haney is a credit not only to herself by her work ethic and determination, but to the agency as a whole as a role model of positive attitude and professionalism.

On Saturday, March 1, 2025, A-Team staff was tasked with conducting a “Shakedown” in 6A Housing unit. Officer Summey was performing his duties of searching inmate cells when he discovered a homemade weapon (shank) concealed inside an inmate’s mattress. Officer Summey’s due diligence and attention to detail prevented this from being used against another inmate. It also prevented this sharpened piece of metal from being used against an officer. That particular weapon has the potential of causing harm to residents and staff members inside the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center. Officer Summey keeps the safety and security of the facility a top priority while performing his daily responsibilities.

Corporal Tyner displays fantastic work ethic in working on D Team for overtime. He constantly is willing to help and will fill in any position he is needed including running a zone, filling in as the Intake Supervisor, Control Room, Master Control, Intake Control, and providing security at the hospital. His outstanding commitment to this agency is commendable and as such, he deserves to be recognized.
