Donations can be noted to be used as follows (please write this on your check or put it in the memo form on the online donation portal):

• Medical fund
• Daily care (toys, treats, cleaning supplies, etc)
• Adoption sponsorship (this allows us to continue offering $5 adoptions!)
• Wherever most needed

• Food for our Pet Food Pantry (dry or wet, dog, cat, puppy, or kitten food)
• Peanut Butter (please be sure it is xylitol free)
• New or gently used and laundered towels or blankets
• New or gently used and cleaned kennels or crates
• Dog treats
• Bleach for cleaning
• Paper towels

Items can be dropped off during our open hours which are Tuesday through Saturday 12-4 pm. If you are not available during those times, items can also be left on the benches on our front porch in the mornings between 6 am and 12 pm.

Please note that we are unable to use pillows of any type or large comforters.

Forsyth County thanks you for your generous help in supporting our projects and services provided to the community. Donations made to Forsyth County may qualify as tax-deductible contributions. A tax professional should be consulted regarding any tax implications of your donations under both state and federal law. All donations are non-refundable. Gifts will be used where needed to support the Animal Shelter and Forsyth County. Donors explicitly release Forsyth County from any restrictions on how those funds are spent. No goods or services were provided to you in exchange for your donation.
