Detention Officers L. Cowan and W. Lewis were assigned to the public lobby section of the LEDC when they noticed a Bondsman conducting business was having medical related issues. The bondsman's health quickly declined and they took immediate action to provide necessary assistance.

The bondsman wrote a letter of appreciation to Cowan and Lewis expressing his gratitude for thier assistance and quick action. Both are commended for going above and beyond to help a citizen in need.
