Synopsis and Discussion
Ozone levels are lower and mid code YELLOW, Sunday with a slight pickup in winds providing decent air mass mixing. Particle pollution is also code YELLOW. A backdoor cold front will push into the state, late Monday, offering a slight cool down, Tuesday, before a warmer, humid, more unsettled weather pattern takes shape mid week. Ozone and particle pollution look to remain code YELLOW, Monday, as the front's influence will not be felt until much later in the day. A cooler, cleaner air mass will filter into the region, Wednesday, allowing the AQI to potentially drop back to code GREEN. Code GREEN air quality will continue into Thursday, as well (GENTRY).
