Tanglewood Park offers fishing at Mallard Lake and Skilpot Lake.
- All Tanglewood Park Rules and Regulations apply.
- Any polluting of the water by urination, defecation, or littering is prohibited and will result in forfeiture of use of Mallard Lake at Tanglewood Park.
- Personal/Private watercrafts are not permitted. A public access to the Yadkin River is available at the canoe access off of Highway 158 between the park entrance and bridge.
- No trespassing will be allowed in the park after closing. Nighttime use of Mallard Lake and its facilities is strictly prohibited.
- Bank fishing is allowed in designated areas only.
- Fishing requires a State Fishing License. All North Carolina Wildlife Fish and Game regulations apply.
- Fishing is open year round, daily from 7 am to dusk.
*Fees: All fishing passes are purchased at the front gate upon entering the park
Daily Fishing Pass $1.50Children under 12 FREE, when accompanied by paying adult
Annual Fishing Pass $ 30.00
*Fishing Fees do not include the daily admission gate fees
